About DiscMap

DiscMap is a free web tool for disc golf course designers, clubs and tournament directors: you map a course once, hole by hole on a real satellite map, and every tee sign, course map and caddie book is generated from that one drawing.

Why it exists

Most disc golf courses are mapped by a volunteer with a screenshot and a drawing program. When a basket moves or a tournament adds a long tee, every sign has to be redrawn by hand, and the course map, the caddie book and the course page online drift apart. DiscMap was built to fix exactly that: the map is the single source of truth, and everything that gets printed or published is derived from it.

It started as a tool for courses in Poland and is now used to map courses in the United States, Finland, Germany, Czechia, Sweden, New Zealand and more — you can browse them in the course directory.

What you can do with it

  • Place tees and baskets on real coordinates, with several tee layouts per hole (e.g. short and long).
  • Draw flight lines, OB lines and areas, mandos, drop zones, hazards, paths and trees.
  • Get par and measured distance for every hole and layout, in metres or feet.
  • Export print-ready tee signs, a whole-course map board and a caddie book as vector PDFs.
  • Publish a read-only course page for players, reachable from a QR code on every tee sign.

The tool is free and needs no account. Guides on the craft itself are in how to design a disc golf course, what belongs on a tee sign and how to make a caddie book.

Who builds it

DiscMap is an independent project built and maintained by Tomasz Dudek, a disc golfer and software developer from Poland. It is not affiliated with the PDGA or any disc manufacturer; tier names are used only to describe tee layouts.

Advertising on the site helps pay for hosting and map data so the tool can stay free. Course data belongs to the people who mapped it.
